Agreed Alex V. Used to Love your considered and balanced match reports mate. Used to look forward to reading them on Mondays, but recognise it was probably a labour of love too far for you, in the end. I kind of drifted away from this site like a discreet turd in the sea, after you stopped.

Been a lurker since the Preston game and always found the site piss funny.
First signed up around 2009/10 as CarltonTheGod and lo and behold was banned very very quickly.

I came into work one day about 15 years ago to find my then old school monitor decorated with west ham badges and other various claret and blue paraphernalia. Looked great, I loved it.
Apparently my colleagues were trying to tell me that I was spending too much time on here.

Used to sit hours on end at my desk in work reading and postingon here in the late 90s. Used to get funny looks when I would be sniggering at my desk witheveryone wondering what the fuck was wrong with me.
Many a time almost getting caught with the site open and just about minimising it before my boss came over to speak to me. I am sure he knew but couldn't give a fuck as whenever I went in to his office he was 9 time out of 10 playing solitaire!

I think I joined late mid to late 90's?? Can't remember now. The fact that I still post tells you what a fucking superb site this is.
Needs an upgrade though.

I think I joined briefly in 2003 when it was a .com I think. Then it was a few years before I joined .net - I suspect circa 2006

I joined in about 2003.
We bought our first home computer, it took me all fucking day to put together and get set up and connected to the internet with the old dial up.
The very first thing I did was type in West Ham chat rooms and up popped this delightful site, been coming back every day ever since then.
To be fair if my wife hadn't been sitting beside me I would have probably typed in porn for my first internet search.

Can't even remember when I joined, lurker for years, rarely post on football as WHO currently like staring into the abyss. (Or as spellcheck just suggested, " the abuse"). It's not much fun is it.
Still, I am merely an ex London armchair with no knowledge of the "shit hole" LS. Never been banned ( should have been for sat football predictions) , so must try harder.
